Multi-Edit Mode

Select Pads

• Start multi-edit mode: Shift-right-click a populated pad and choose Select. You can also Command-click on macOS or Control-click on Windows/Linux.
• Add or remove pads: click their checkboxes while selection is active.
• Select every populated pad: press Command+A on macOS or Control+A on Windows/Linux.
• Clear the selection: press Escape, click Clear selection, or choose it from the Shift-right-click menu.

Edit Selected Pads

1. Click Edit.
2. Change only the controls or playback mode you want to share. Untouched settings stay different on each pad.
3. Play selected pads to preview the changes, then choose Done to apply them or Discard to cancel.

Normalize chooses one shared Volume setting based on the loudest selected pad. It includes checked locked pads.

Changing an ENV knob applies that automation depth across the selection. Existing per-pad envelope shapes remain individual; pads without a shape receive the default contour.

Other Actions

• Move the selected pads: drag a checked pad to a new slot. The selected layout moves as a group.
• Copy the selected pads: hold Command on macOS or Control on Windows/Linux while dragging a checked pad.
• Move or copy pads across layers: hover another layer or Scratchpad before dropping.
• Apply a bulk action: Shift-right-click to export, normalize, send, lock, unlock, or delete the selected pads.
• Lock or unlock the selection: press L. A mixed selection locks together on the first press, then unlocks together on the next.

Lock protects pads from rerolls; it does not block explicit edits or bulk actions.
